As we head into the ninth race weekend of eleven this season, the young and experienced driver Tyler Maxson looks to claim his first win of the season at Road America during the Road America 240 event weekend. The 17-year-old driver will compete with thirteen other cars on the scenic 4.014-mile track in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.

Still looking to score their fifth pole position along with his first win this season, Maxson and his driving partner Mason Filippi have never been more motivated as they pilot the #77 Bryan Herta Autosport Hyundai Elantra N TCR.

“We’ve just been struck by a series of bad luck,” explained Maxson. “It feels like a common theme this year, but we have proven to have the pace because we’ve been able to score four pole positions. I’m confident our time will come soon, if not this weekend.”

Piloting his Hyundai with partner Filippi this weekend, Maxson will take part in a pair of practice sessions on Thursday and Friday before qualifying Saturday morning for the four-hour Road America 240 race which takes the green flag later that day at 2:15 pm Central Time.
