Tyler Maxson heads to the Miami International Autodrome for Rounds Five and Six of the Porsche Carrera Cup North America Championship, joining the global stage as part of the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix weekend. With massive crowds and heightened attention surrounding the event, Maxson and TOPP Racing enter the weekend focused on maintaining momentum and extending their championship lead in the #77 entry.

Taking on the 3.36-mile, 19-turn Miami International Autodrome, which winds its way around the Hard Rock Stadium, blending elements of a street circuit with a permanent road course, Maxson will be aiming for the top step of the podium, a feat he has accomplished twice already this season.

Maxson arrives in Miami with confidence, building on a strong start to the 2026 season that has already seen him consistently at the front of the field. With recent experience on both temporary street circuits and traditional road courses, including Long Beach and the Sebring International Raceway, the TOPP Racing team is well-equipped with data and insight to tackle the demands of the Miami circuit.

With two races on the schedule, maximizing points will be critical. Maxson has demonstrated his race craft and determination throughout the season, capitalizing on every opportunity to strengthen his title campaign.

“Racing in Miami alongside Formula 1 is always an incredible experience,” explained Maxson. “The energy around the event is on another level, and it pushes you to perform at your best. We’re focused on executing a clean weekend, making the most of every session, and continuing to build on the momentum we’ve had so far. I believe we have everything we need to fight for this championship.”

Track action begins Thursday evening with Practice One, followed by Practice Two on Friday afternoon and Qualifying later that evening. Race One is set for Saturday at 2:50 PM ET, with Race Two going green Sunday at 11:10 AM ET. Both races will be streamed live on the Porsche Motorsport North America and IMSA YouTube channels.
